The exhibition “Žadkěvič and Others” at the Nazi Forced
Labour Documentation Centre in Berlin-Schöneweide focuses on the story of Konstantin Žadkěvič, a
Czech-Russian chemist, and his resistance activities
during World War II. Employed by the Heldenheim
company in Berlin Tempelhof, Žadkěvič connected with
forced laborers from across Europe in 1943, aiming to
fight for a united socialist Europe after the fall of the
Nazis.
The exhibition brings to light their forgotten story and highlights their courageous resistance efforts against Nazi oppression. My role as a graphic design intern was to make banners for the upcoming exhibition.
